RECYCLING/ REUSING
Bike Rescue - takes donated or rescued bikes and refurbishes them for sale or donation. If you have an unwanted bike/ spare parts, or if you're looking for a bike or would like to get involved in the project, visit the Bike Rescue at 4B Parkside Commercial Centre, Terry Avenue, York YO23 1JP. They're open to the public 3.30pm - 8pm Thursdays (other times by appointment).

- network of paint reuse schemes across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The purpose of the project is to collect leftover reusable paint from householders, and redistribute it to those who need paint but cannot afford it.
