RECYCLING/ REUSING
Bike Rescue - takes donated or rescued bikes
and refurbishes them for sale or donation. If you have an unwanted bike/
spare parts, or if you're looking for a bike or would like to get involved
in the project, visit the Bike Rescue at 4B Parkside Commercial Centre,
Terry Avenue, York YO23 1JP. They're open to the public 3.30pm - 8pm Thursdays
(other times by appointment).

- network of paint reuse schemes across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern
Ireland. The purpose of the project is to collect leftover reusable paint

Woodchuckers - Based at Elvington Airfield Business
Park (Open: Mon - Fri 10-4pm, Sat 10-12:30), Woodchuckers recycle all
wood and wood items into a wide range of products, plus sell re-claimed
wood. All profits go to supporting children and young people’s projects.
