Punta Blanca is one of the most spectacular dive sites on Tenerife, and is a must for experienced divers. On this site you can expect to see almost all of the various species of aquatic life, which reside here in Tenerife, all on one site!
The top of the reef drops from 12 metres, where we anchor, to 22 metres at the base of the wall. From here we move away from the wall, to an area of huge boulders at a maximum depth of 28 metres. It is here at the large blocks of stone we find the meeting place for large shoals of grunts and several different species of bream. Moray eels, stingrays, triggerfish and large jacks are also regularly seen here. The base of the wall is deeply undercut and at one point, red gorgonias can be seen. The nature of the rock formation makes it an excellent multi-level dive. The underwater photographer and naturalist will be reluctant to leave this site.
