“Lolita”, was the name give to a small, wooden fishing boat which sank here in 2003. Due to the nature of the construction of the boat not much of the structure can now be seen, but is home to many smaller fish and crustaceans.

The wreckage is in 18 – 20 metres, and we visit it briefly as part of a tour of the surrounding reef system. If we are observant, and lucky, we can often find Canarian Squat Lobsters here, which are an endangered species. On the dive we come to a large cavern which can be home to stingrays, anemones and small shoaling fish. We then swim over the top of the cavern, through a “curtain” of our exhaust bubbles as they pass through the volcanic roof of the cavern below.
